Co President

Cherry Browne

Cherry fell in love with Toy Libraries when her children were toddlers. Inspired at a AGM for Burwood Toy Library back in 1995 Cherry quickly developed a deep passion for charitable work within the Toy Library community.  Her first time on the board for 10 years involved being Treasurer, President and Toy Express Manager, also helping run a couple of Toy Library conferences.

A break of 10 years, the birth of her grandchildren and being a second time around Toy Library member, Cherry found herself still very passionate about the Toy Library community and is excited to be involved at board level again with such an amazing organisation working with amazing people of all ages and all walks of life.

Board member since 2017

Barbara WIlliman

Kia ora koutou. Barbara has been the President of Christchurch South Toy Library for almost two years, and held other roles before this one. She lives in Christchurch with her husband and three kids, but was born and raised in Waitakere (West Auckland).

She is a perpetual optimist, has great idea productivity, a passion for people and likes to get things done.  These skills were useful for her Toy Library when they faced closure. She quickly found them a temporary home, and has subsequently secured us a home they can stay in for as long as needed. She has been working with the local council and community to secure them a more central and permanent home. Barbara's main reason to join the board is to create better succession support and build greater connections between Libraries. She's really excited to see what the next year brings. Noho ora mai
